An exciting opportunity has
arisen for enthusiastic and forward thinking Registered Nurse to join our
nursing team at Haven Court.
We are an 80-bedded, purpose
built facility providing a comprehensive range of services. This includes long
term residential and nursing care services, reablement and respite services,
day services and a range of health and social care services for older people.
We are also proud to announce the recent opening of the Cedar Unit which offers
6 dedicated end of life beds/palliative care beds.
Haven Court provides a
friendly caring environment for older people, where they are treated with
respect, courtesy and dignity. Our professional team of staff have put the
needs of the service users and their carers first whilst fully involving them
in their care planning.
Main duties of the job
Working under the direction of
the Registered Manager and Deputies, the successful candidate will oversee the
effective delivery of the service on a daily basis, liaise with families and
other agencies and represent the best interests of the residents within the
nursing and residential units. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will
provide personalised, high quality and safe care whilst being involved in
helping to shape services and future developments. You should be able to
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be
supported in your development and further learning opportunities are available.

You
will be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to meet the
requirements of the shift pattern which includes a combination of long days,
earlies, lates and rotation onto nightshift. The roster covers 7 days of the
week, 24 hours per day. Full time, part time and flexible working is available
