Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team within a Group Practice delivering general medical services and elements of occupational health to military personnel and trainees; the Group Practice is formed of two sites (the other in Aldershot) and there is an expectation the CMP will be required to work across both sites.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated CMP who will be responsible for delivering a clinical service to patients registered with the practice, both military and where applicable their dependent families as well as other entitled personnel. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team alongside Nurses, Physiotherapists and Pharmacy Technicians. Opportunities for Occupational medicine, to include Aviation and Diving Medicine training are available in some locations alongside clinical professional development. As our successful candidate, you should be an efficient and supportive asset to the team. This means being able to provide safe and appropriate medical advice, whilst being expected to carry out associated administrative tasks in accordance with MOD policy and General Medical Council (GMC) standards.

This is a Full-Time role for 37 hours a week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs.

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.
