Job summary
We are currently looking for a highly organised, resilient, enthusiastic and motivated individual with the ability to inspire and help lead others to achieve results to join the NECS Urgent and Emergency Care team. The postholder will have a specific portfolio lead role for Directory of Services projects and will also provider senior subject matter expertise support to our national counterparts and the wider team.
Essential requirement to work from the office location on a regular/potentially weekly basisPlease note this role is restricted to internal CSU colleagues only.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects across multiple DoS customer groups to the required factors of time, cost and quality ensuring the required outcomes are delivered for business benefits and return on investment to be achieved. You will also act as deputy for the UEC Solutions Programme Manager on an ad-hoc basis. You must have robust leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of the health and social care system with particular focus on the impact of the Directory of Services within the support for the wider health system.
The successful applicants will be required to:
Have an understanding of the Directory of Services
Contribute to the development of the UEC Team
Manage, lead, coach and develop the DoS project delivery team
Successfully deliver projects associated with DoS and the wider urgent and emergency care team
The team environment is fast paced, and you will be expected to be able to manage your own, as well as your teams workload and prioritise as necessary the demands of the role.
The role is full time (37.5 hours) ideally based at John Snow House, Durham OR Scarsdale Hospital, Chesterfield. Regular travel may be required to fulfil this role and attendance within the office is required twice per week due to the team operational requirements.
