Come and join our dynamic and innovative Finance Consultancy team. Our team provides a range of financial support to a number of Integrated Care Boards across England, so we will need you to be flexible, adaptable and to balance your workload. We work on varying contracts and projects across the health sector, making a difference to patients across England. This is a great development role and as a team we support our staff to gain their professional qualifications if individuals wish to progress.

Successful candidates may work from a mixture of locations including home, NECS offices and customer locations.
Main duties of the job
Operational
Provide the Finance Team with transactional finance services to allow the production and delivery of specific financial reporting requirements, ensuring all aspects of financial management and control are maintained at a high level
Provide administrative and clerical support to the team where required
Contact internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve queries
Ensure all financial information provided is timely, accurate and relevant and is produced in accordance with the relevant reporting timetable
Communications
Provide and receive routine information, which may be sensitive or may requiring tact or persuasive skills to managers, including non-financial managers
Discuss routine financial queries with internal stakeholders and external clients, which are often complex and sensitive
Display good verbal and written communication skills to convey routine financial issues, to support decisions to the subject in hand
Support with external audit and internal audit to resolve the majority of issues at the earliest stage
Analytical
Analyse financial data to identify errors and resolve problems from a range of options
Assist in the investigation, analysis and reporting of budget variances in order to highlight any significant financial issues to key stakeholders and clients
Analyse, investigate and support a resolution of complex financial queries and discrepancies
Support with making suggestions regarding the allocation of finances, financial decisions and financial risk
