We are looking for a keen individual to join our dynamic and innovative Finance Consultancy team. The team of approx. 30 staff provides a range of financial support, often on varying projects and workstreams across the health sector. Our clients include NHS Integrated Care Boards, NHS Providers, NHSE, Primary Care, and others, as well as CSU staff based across England. This is a key role in ensuring that we are able to provide first class services to our customers and stakeholders as well as developing and supporting our award-winning team.
We are a flexible employer and offer a range of working arrangements and patterns as well as working in a hybrid manner. This means that the successful candidate will be asked to work from a mixture of locations including their own home, NECS offices and customer locations.
Main duties of the job
This role involves:
Having an interest in developing, understanding and improving financial and accounting procedures, contracting and contract monitoring processes
Being flexible as we will need you to work on a range of different projects and types of work
Having the ability and confidence to work autonomously and with a range of customers and stakeholder whilst also being a strong team player.
Supporting transformational change, working with commissioners, providers, Provider Collaboratives, and health care systems to support their needs and improve patient care.
Ideally you will have had experience working in an NHS finance role and be keen to learn and develop new skills.
