GP Practice in Ashington and Newbiggin
Advanced Clinical Practitioner
Up to full time post (37.5 hrs per week)
Successful candidates will work as an autonomous practitioner, diagnosing, managing, prescribing, and discharging patients with illness across all age groups including young children..
This role will involve working alongside a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, other ACPs, clinical pharmacists, highly skilled nurses, an extremely supportive and organised administration and management team.

Main duties of the job
To work alongside the General Practitioners and demonstrate advanced clinical skills, be a non-medical prescriber and be able to assess, diagnose, treat and provide advice and care to patients with a variety of undifferentiated conditions.
As an autonomous practitioner the post holder will also be expected to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and discharge patients or refer to a specialist or appropriate healthcare provider.
The post holder will work within the Scope of NMC practice and according to local policies and procedures. They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients/service.

- Experience working as an independent non-medical prescriber.
- Primary Care experience.

- NMC Registration.
- Independent Nurse Prescriber V300.
