Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Urgent & Emergency Care Team for a Band 7 Delivery Support Manager. The recently published UEC recovery programme, along with our local clinical and operational vision supported by excellent partnership working and collaboration across health and carel, makes this a really exciting time to join Urgent & Emergency Care in our Integrated Care System in Lincolnshire.

As a member of the Lincolnshire ICB Urgent & Emergency Care Team, the post holder will lead on a number of smaller transformation projects and support large scale projects within the system UEC programme, working closely with system partners and stakeholders across the Lincolnshire System. The post holder will deliver on a range of projects within the UEC as well as delivery of some elements of Business as Usual work.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead on the delivery of individual projects and support in the wider delivery of the UEC system programme. They will be responsible for development of robust project documentation, implementation plans and utilising the system project management tool.

Engage with system stakeholders and partners working collaboratively to ensure the success of the wider UEC programme, encouraging collaboration and where required negotiating where there are differences of opinion.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Use formal project management tools and processes to manage all aspects of assigned projects, including the planning, design, execution, evaluation and close-out of any and all assigned projects.
  • Deliver on a range of projects within scope of the Urgent Care programme and be the identified lead on any and all projects as assigned. This includes managing multiple, and at times competing or interdependent, projects as required..
  • Dvelop robust project documentation ensuring sound project control with governance mechanisms in place.
  • Planning, time scheduling and monitoring progress of the projects. Regular periodic project reviews to ensure projects are on track and will meet agreed key milestones and outcomes of the programme and that they reamin within project tolerances.
  • Directing and motivating project teams and management of stakeholders. Providing advice and guidance to project team members and users with regards to best practice.
  • Working collaboratively across the ICB and system partners.
  • Managing conflicting programme interdependencies and unresolved issues with tolerance.
  • Profiling regular meeting to update progress, escalate risks & Issues and ensure project milestones remain aligned to the overarching programme plan.
  • Having overall responsibility for the project quality management.
  • Ensuring effective use of change control.
  • Managing liaison with communication leads to ensure seamless transfer of information and message management.
  • Develop implementation plans for projects and lead the implementation into Business As Usual (BAU).
