Job summary
The Day Procedure Unit at Cromer Hospital is a six-bay treatment area where patients undergo minor surgery in the procedure room including LA Plastic Surgery, Pain management, Hysteroscopy, Flexible Cystoscopy and Medical Botox. The eye theatre also offers Cataract and Oculoplastic Surgery and Intravitreal Injection lists.
The North Norfolk Macmillan Centre is also part of the day procedure unit with two LA procedure rooms that undergo minor surgery including Dermatology, Urology, and Gynaecology. This is supported by three outpatient rooms.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is willing to adapt to meet the needs of our service and train to provide surgical support in theatre for all specialties. Previous experience in one of these fields would be desirable but not essential.
Full time: 37.5 hrs per week.

Main duties of the job
You will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care.
You should be able to work well as part of a team and be able to prioritize your own workload.
You will be expected to work in all areas of the department and be taught to use the specialized equipment.
We are a small friendly hospital with parking on site and the surrounding area.
The working hours are Monday - Friday.
