Specialist Dental Nurse

Job summary

We are delighted to extend an invite to a qualified , experienced Dental Nurse to join our Consultant led Oral and Maxillofacial Service providing support to Maxillofacial, Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontics. This is a permanent post covering clinics from 0800-1800 Monday to Friday working across Musgrove Park Hospital, Quantock View Dental Practice and Heavitree, Exeter.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a team to provide clinical and non clinical support to Trust employed Dental clinicians across Somerset.

You will work with the nursing team across clinics giving guidance and support.

To be able to link between service user and clinician.

To prepare the surgery for the service user and assist the clinicians in a range of dental procedures.

Processing dental equipment and instruments in accordance to HTM01-05 and local policies to include daily testing and documentation processes and equipment.
