We are a small but rapidly growing, rural,
dispensing GP practice.
We have the privilege of working in purpose built
premises located in beautiful rural South Warwickshire. Our growing GP practice
is just 10 minutes drive south from Stratford upon Avon.
We require an enthusiastic Treatment Room Nurse
able to support the Practice for a 21 hour working week (negotiable.) to cover
maternity leave for a 12 month period with the opportunity to continue working
on a permanent basis on one day a week.

Requirements:
Current NMC registration
Primary Care experience highly desirable
Main duties of the job
Basic wound care / ulcer care including compression and dopplers
Removal of sutures
Urinalysis
ECGs
Blood pressure measurements
To deal with urgent requests e.g. urgent ECGs
To deal with any bodily fluid incidents within the practice with the use of a spill kit e.g. vomit
Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician
Assisting GPs with minor surgery and Nexplanon fittings
Requesting basic pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs
Undertake housekeeping duties including, general tidiness and cleanliness of nurses and treatment rooms
Undertake QOF, Enhanced service
Administration tasks, including but not limited to checking fridge temperatures, ordering stock, review of emergency trolley, stock rotation and ordering
