Newcastle Hospitals is seeking to appoint a Charity Director to grow and develop our trust charity.

As a major teaching hospital, which is home to the Great North Childrens Hospital, Institute of Transplantation and Northern Centre for Cancer Care we have a lot to be proud of. We are an important part of the local community, whilst also providing regional, national and international services.

It is an exciting time for our charity which contributes over £2 million to the hospital each year, ‘reflecting the affection and gratitude that patients and local people feel towards our staff and services.’ Following a recent review, it’s time to strengthen our approach, and ensure that fundraising is part of everything that we do so that we can support more lifesaving and life enhancing treatments for our patients.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring charity leader, with a track record of setting and implementing a successful transformative strategy, to join us and help make our vision become a reality.
