NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – Chair of Finance and Investment Committee

The Governors of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust are looking to appoint a new Non Executive Director.

With an income of around £320m and a staff of 5000 Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is a major integrated healthcare organisation dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare for the local population.

Over the last three years Bolton FT has become one of the strongest performing trusts in the UK and we now need individuals who can assist us in delivering the next phase of our journey. The need to collaborate with local partners and to work positively with colleagues across Greater Manchester offers a real opportunity for individuals to help shape and define our future direction, values and ethics.

We are looking to appoint a candidate with recent and relevant finance experience gained in a complex organisation, with a recognised financial qualification and/or a recognised accounting qualification.

You will share our core values and will provide strategic oversight, support and challenge to our Executive team.

We would be particularly pleased to receive applications from candidates from a BME background, as part of our strategy to increase diversity at all levels of our organisation.
