Shipston Medical Centre is looking to recruit a qualified nurse to join our experienced and dynamic nursing team. We welcome applications from both those with experience of general practice and primary care and those who would like to commence a career in this sector. As an experienced teaching practice we actively support skill development and education and are happy to source and support training where needed for the right candidate.

We are looking for a treatment room nurse whose responsibilities will incliude, cytology, wound care, immunisations, health promotion & screening and supporting patients in lifestyle change.

We want to recruit an individual who is enthusiastic about providing high quality care and promoting health and wellbeing; who has excellent communication skills and compassion and who enjoys working in and positively contributing to a happy team.

Shipston Medical Centre is rated as ‘outstanding’ by the CQC. We offer a friendly and supportive work environment, where high quality care, team working and teaching and learning are highly valued. The position is for 18 hours each week, ideally worked in the following pattern:

Monday 2pm - 5.30pm
Turesday 8.30am - 5pm
Wednesday 2pm - 5pm
Friday 2pm - 5.30pm
