Hours / Contract: approx. 28 hours per week / Permanent

Working in one or more of our laboratories, you’ll provide vital support to qualified scientific staff in a role that could involve anything from sample or reagent preparation to assisting with laboratory testing. You may also be relied on to update our donor and patient information and to generate computerised reports or worksheets should the need arise.

This position demands great team working skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to precisely follow written instructions. Ideally, we would also like to see GCSEs at grades C or above in Maths and English or another equivalent qualification, such as an NVQ.

The normal working hours for this role are 28 hours per week over 5 days, with a maximum of 5.6 hours per day. Earliest start time would be 05:00, with approximate finish time of 10:30.
