Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Lung Cancer and Interventional Pulmonology in the department of Respiratory Medicine at Glenfield Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. The post is available for 12 months with anticipated start date from August 2019. The appointment will be whole time and based mainly at Glenfield Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. The successful applicant will join an established team of lung cancer physicians serving a population of over 1.1 million.

This post is ideally suited to a senior trainee (≥ST5) who has some experience of lung cancer management and who wishes to add further specialist clinical, management and potentially research skills to their portfolio prior to taking up a definitive Consultant post with an interest in Lung Cancer. Interested applicants are advised to review the job description carefully to ensure the post is suitable to their requirements. A pre-requisite for this post is that applicants should ideally be independent at standard fibreoptic bronchoscopy and RCR Level 1 thoracic USS.
