C&FHS is looking for nurses from a variety of backgrounds and experience to join our organisation and help us work with children, young people and their families to deliver the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme

You will be supported by our clinical specialists / team leaders, service managers and safeguarding service to provide excellent practice and develop your skills and knowledge to offer a public health service to the 0-19 age range. We have an excellent preceptorship model to support newly qualified nurses. We are committed to professional development, have an invigorating training plan and an active school nurses forum. 

The successful applicants will work up to full-time 37.5 hours per week.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)

Recruitment and Retention Premium

Recruitment and Retention Premium applies to the following posts:

Health Visitors, Paediatric Therapists, Ward based Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Audiologists, Continence Nurses, Identified areas for Band 5 & 6 Staff Nurses and District Nurses.

Successful applicants within the staff groups above will receive -

  • £1000 upon commencement (payable in your first months’ salary) then;

  • £1000 after 6 months service subject to satisfactory completion of your probationary period.

    Do note that repayment clauses apply - and will be provided, as required to the relevant post holders.
