We very pleased to be able to offer a full time Band 7 post in the role Clinical Expert Pathway lead for ‘Developmental Delay’ and for ‘Community Neonatal Pathway’ across Portsmouth &East Hampshire. The role will involve coordinating multi-disciplinary assessments and ongoing therapeutic management for this age group across the East locality.

The post holder will lead and support on system wide developments for Early Years, establishing and developing links with acute and community stakeholders, including acute trusts, parent voice groups, Portage and CCGs. They will also work to develop Therapies Transition pathways with acute & specialist settings.

The post holder will offer clinical support to staff, hold a highly complex case load of children which will be predominantly (but not exclusively) early years. They will support leadership, planning, developing and evaluating the service.

We are looking for a pro-active physiotherapist who has had significant experience of working with children with complex / highly complex needs. The successful candidate will join an integrated therapy team working in partnership with families, other professionals from health, education and social care agencies.

As part of a multi-disciplinary and multiagency team, you will provide services for children with complex / highly complex conditions who may also have co-conditions including, developmental delay, and neurological, neuromuscular and or respiratory difficulties. The post holder will be supported to develop both their clinical and management skills. Excellent communication skills and a passion for integrated working are vital. Own transport essential.
