As a mental health nurse, you would be required to work at our purpose built inpatient environments, The Orchards, located in the grounds of St James Hospital include Hawthorns - a 20 bedded acute unit and Maples - a 10 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, which also includes facilitating 136 assessments. Our residential services work collaboratively to offer a seamless journey for patients to ensure that care and treatment is assessed and provided in the least restrictive environment.

Our teams work hard to ensure high quality patient centred care is at the heart of everything we do and our staff are supported in their roles and encouraged to develop.
