We offer newly qualified, registered nurses, operating department practitioners and skilled theatre practitioners, opportunities to progress within the department.


By joining our Theatres team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and will be involved in a wide range of specialties. Our theatres are currently based over three sites, with 24 hour operating theatres that provide elective and emergency surgery. The department offers a wide choice of specialties including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ear Nose and Throat, Oral, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Vascular, Plastics, Breast Surgery, and Urology.


Opening in 2022, the Midland Metropolitan Hospital will be the largest emergency hospital in the region, offering theatre staff cutting-edge technology to treat patients.
