To support our new Quality Strategy – Becoming the Best - we are hiring a team of individuals whose responsibility will be to deliver quality improvement and cultural improvements as a part of this project. At the heart of this strategy is our aim to embed Quality Improvement (QI) across the Trust; develop the right conditions in which learning can flourish through an ethic of continuous learning about the benefits of changing our habits and behaviours.

We are therefore now recruiting a number of exciting new roles who will lead on this effort. Quality Improvement Leads will not only help deliver a number of specific projects and workstreams but more importantly they will be tasked over time with embedding a continuous improvement culture across all 15,000 colleagues Trust wide.

They will be our organisational ‘Improvement Coaches’ and as such will be a key source of our QI expertise. We are seeking people who have a positive mind-set who enjoy learning and problem solving. Who are or are prepared to learn how to think and act in different ways and share ideas with the QI team and others. Who enjoy spending time with individuals and teams, and talking to and persuading others that an issue is worth exploring. Be resilient when faced with adversity, learn from failure, and be humble when dealing with conflicting issues.

These roles are therefore fundamental to our Quality Strategy and they will significantly enhance outcomes and experience for our patients. We will support your development and help you achieve your ambitions in being more skilled and experienced in; leadership, QI, innovation and transformation.

If you have significant experience in Quality Improvement, are enthusiastic and passionate in this field and hold a relevant qualification and you value providing quality healthcare services whilst reducing waste and inefficiency, are innovative and resilient, enjoy challenge, are numerate and self-motivated this is a role for you and will allow you to be a part of an exciting and ambitious programme of work.
