As Technical Co-ordinator, you’ll work across the Technology Services team, planning, co-ordinating and contributing to a variety of complex project activities across ICT. This will include securing and managing resource, monitoring and reporting progress and identifying any potential issues that need to be addressed. Representing the interests of Technology Services, you’ll act as a business improvement co-ordinator, working closely with other ICT directorates to develop and establish new processes. Your technical responsibilities will also include co-ordinating the preparation of designs and specifications, creating and updating project documentation including engineer notes, equipment schedules, and test and commissioning plans. You’ll also arrange and manage technical workshops and demonstrations.

 

You should be educated to postgraduate diploma level or have equivalent professional qualifications and relevant experience. Experienced in managing project workstreams and budgets, you should be able to build strong working relationships across multi-directorates and with internal and external stakeholders at senior management and operational level. Along with strong people and financial management skills you’ll need the ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex technical information, to produce reports and make recommendations. Ideally, you’ll also have previous NHS experience and knowledge of NHS policy and procedures.

 

You may be required to work Irregular hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, and travel extensively (including overnight stays).
