We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community children's nurse to work within the core nursing team in the Lifetime Service, in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Children’s Nurse with a special interest in gaining experience in working as a Community Children’s Nurse andwill have excellent communication skills with an ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.

You willundertake allocated nursing tasks identified by caseload managers to deliver holistic nursing care to ensure children with life-limiting conditions and complex nursing needs are cared for in the environment of their choice.

Assist with the training and development of parents, carers, Lifetime Support Workers and others to enable children to be cared for safely in a variety of settings.

Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and will receive appropriate levels of supervision through the preceptorship programme within Lifetime and the support structures available to all Lifetime staff.

You will spend time both within an office environment and travelling between service users and other services within Bristol and South Gloucestershire in the 4 CCG areas. You willneed the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service to cover days and/or waking nights over a 7 day period covering 365 days per year.

You will need to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
