An exciting opportunity has arisen at our friendly and progressive practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly capable salaried GP to join our team, with a view to partnership for the right candidate. We are willing to be flexible on sessions.

At Bartholomew Medical Group we pride ourselves in the service we provide to the local community and are always looking at ways to improve. Over and above the usual high QOF achievements and relatively stable income we do offer an opportunity for growth and to be involved in different aspects of primary care – namely, but not limited to:

  • HYMS student training, and clinical practitioner mentorship
  • GP Registrar training – there is opportunity to become a trainer
  • Active in primary care research
  • We have a GP with special interest in dermatology
  • A GP with special interest in cardiology
  • A GP with special interest in palliative care
  • Advanced contraceptives
  • Minor surgery
  • A GP with an interest in musculoskeletal problems

We are a 17,000 patient practice with 7 partners. We use system one clinical system and have a full complement of staff including nursing, reception and administration teams. We do offer mentorship for new starters and value their contribution into our growing team.

Our practice is located in Goole, just off the M62, and has good transport links to all surrounding cities and villages. We are located in a purpose built health centre close to the local hospital with good access to tests, secondary care and the urgent treatment centre.

We offer competitive rates of pay inclusive of GMC and defence union costs all based on the model BMA contract.
