NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT)
Tooting Donor Centre

We receive over 2 million blood donations a year, but you don’t need a medical background or any qualifications to help us get them. We just need your friendly, flexible approach to make our volunteer donors feel welcome, at ease and valued.

It’s your passion for people and reassuring nature that’s important, and will encourage donors to return and bring family and friends along to donate.

You’ll find the camaraderie in the team and sense of pride after each day is hard to beat and enjoy plenty of variety taking the donor through the blood collection process and using our cell separator machines.

Full time hours would be working 10 days over a fortnight and working 7.5 hours a day. The earliest start time would be 08:00 with a finish time of approx.16:15, if on a late shift you would be starting at 13:00, with a finish time of 21:00. You will be working no more than 5 days in a calendar week and weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
