Primary care is changing – be part of it and shape new ways of working

Herefordshire has a vibrant and strong primary care community which uphold the valued traditions of general practice whilst embracing new ways of working. As Herefordshire’s GP federation we are supporting the development of portfolio GP roles. These will have the opportunity to work across Herefordshire working within our 7 day Service, within wider General Practice, and in partnership with the local A&E.

Portfolio roles could include opportunities in clinical specialities, GP training and specialist GP skills such as minor surgery as we are working in partnership with our wider NHS providers to optimise high quality care for Herefordshire’s patients. Successful applicants will have the ability to influence their career pathway whilst recognising the role will have stability and advantages of a larger organisation to develop continuity within the teams where you work.
