Solent NHS Trust has an exciting new role that requires someone as Beacon Charity Director to lead the ambitious re-launch of a dynamic, innovative and socially impactful charity, which enables the delivery of a combined innovation challenge fund, able to source investments from grants, social funds and other investors.

Part of the role of Charity Director will be to ensure that all activities related to the Charity are conducted in accordance with Charity Regulation and to support a future strategy for fundraising.

Assist with the identification and implementation of launch and fundraising events.

This will be a high profile voluntary position working closely with the Board. The Charity Director will create and manage a strategic and operational delivery and assurance framework which ensures that the fund raising is well managed, operates within regulation, with clear plans that reflect best practice with clear performance benchmarks, and enables robust governance.

Previous experience of involvement with Charities being part of or leading is preferable.
