Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

BAND 3 HEALTH CARE SUPPORT WORKER

Based within the South Leicestershire CMHT at the Neville Centre

We are looking to recruit a full time Band 3 Health Care Support Worker in South Leicestershire Community Mental Health Team.

The team provides a service to people over the age of 65 who have complex organic and functional mental health needs and we are part of community services for Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person who has previous experience of working in a healthcare setting. We are looking for a committed, compassionate health care support worker to become part of a wider nursing team. We are interested in people who are looking for new challenges and are able to work in a team of various health professionals but also alone as the nature of the job requires visiting patients in their own homes. We work collaboratively with patients and their carers to deliver the highest standard of care. Good communication skills are essentials. You will have an identified mentor/supervisor to guide and support you with the knowledge and skills required for this post and you will receive a regular clinical supervision and annual appraisal.

This post requires a Driving license and access to a car.
