Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is a single commissioner for health and social care, comprising a partnership between Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Manchester City Council.

Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) is a partnership between Manchester City Council and NHS Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group.

The organisations came together to ensure a more joined up and effective approach to improving the health and wellbeing of the population and commissioning safe, high quality health and social care services for the people of Manchester.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Information Analyst to provide timely high quality analysis and intelligence to support the planning, monitoring and evaluation of activities to improve population health and wellbeing and the reduction of health inequalities through the more equitable delivery of health and care services.

The successful candidate will use their MS Access and Excel skills to provide specialist technical expertise in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex information to support the work of individuals and organisations with a role in improving population health and wellbeing. In addition we are currently implementing the Tableau Data Visualisation Tool and you will be supported to develop your skills in the use of this tool.

A key requirement of the role will be the need to engage and work closely with a range of stakeholders across the city, including senior managers and decision makers, in order to capture their intelligence requirements and ensure that these are met.

The post holder will be part of the Population Health Knowledge and Intelligence Team and will report to the Public Health Specialist (Health Intelligence) but will work closely with colleagues in the MHCC Business Intelligence Team and Manchester City Council Performance and Intelligence Teams.
