CBT Therapists – Ilkeston – IAPT Service

Trent PTS provides NHS (IAPT) psychological services across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We have ambitious plans to expand our teams to meet continued demand. We currently have teams in various locations across both counties who work in dedicated psychotherapy centres providing all IAPT approved treatment modalities and are closely aligned to GP practices and university health services. Several of our teams are expanding but due to internal promotions recently and transfers between locations, we now have an opportunity to recruit for CBT Therapists based in our new clinic in Ilkeston.  Located along the borders of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, Ilkeston is an easily accessible suburb and is well serviced by public transport.    Our new clinic is due to open in early 2020.

These are fantastic opportunities to be part of newly developing teams where our aim is to offer evidence based psychological interventions aimed at supporting and reflecting the needs of our diverse client group. Our aim is to offer bespoke interventions in a timely manner and therefore we are looking for individuals who have experience of providing therapy in varying domains and at differing levels. Applications from candidates who have experience of working at step 2 and 3 and have also offered these interventions using computer based programmes, skype and telephone would be particularly encouraged. This would enhance our aim of continual growth within the changing client communities by using digital technology and skype type interventions.

All our therapists have a dedicated room and administrative support. Trent PTS is singularly focused on achieving remarkable outcomes for our local populations. We are an organisation that is dynamic, agile and dedicated to making our staff reach and exceed their potential. We have an active continuing professional development programme that we are reviewing and are keen to further increase its emphasis on clinical skills development. Clinical supervision and supervisor groups are at the centre of our clinical governance process, along with partnership developments and creating pathways for vulnerable populations. In the near future we will be developing a leadership programme for those who are ambitious to further their careers within the management structure. Salary: Agenda for Change Band 7 - £37, 570 - £43,772 per annum

All clinicians are expected to offer at least one evening clinic, working 12.00 noon to 8pm. In addition to ensuring our employees feel valued, appreciated and supported, we offer:
