Applications are invited for the post of Applications Manager within our Informatics Team at East Cheshire NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to be responsible for the overall management of the trust's key applications.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Applications Team who provide management and support to key applications in use across the Trust, currently, but not limited to: PAS, EMIS, Extramed and Single Sign On. Supported applications will change in response to the needs of the organisation to fulfil its strategic digital transformation objective. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the supported applications are used to maximum effect to the benefit of the organisation, staff and patients.

Acting as lead specialist and the primary interface between Trust staff and Suppliers for the applications supported, representing the trust in supplier performance meetings and SLA management, the successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills, staff management experience and the ability to deal with regular interruptions and demands, responding to the changing needs of the service.
