NHS Fylde and Wyre CCG (FWCCG) is part of the Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria and Healthier Fylde Coast which are partnerships of organisations coming together to improve outcomes and care for local people, reduce pressures on services and make best use of financial resources. Healthier Fylde Coast will bring together FWCCG, NHS Blackpool CCG, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Trust, Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council as well as other health and care providers, to create one integrated care partnership comprising of three delivery units.

Administrator, Band 4 (indicative), Permanent

The post-holder will provide a full administrative service to the Primary Care Commissioning Team, and other Commissioning teams as required. The post holder will support the Commissioning Function’s senior managers in a number of administrative duties including: assisting with the management of projects; gathering data and information; creating and monitoring action plans; organising and supporting meetings; supporting diary management; and providing general administrative support and advice.

Two key elements of the role will be to:

  • Support Primary Care meetings across the Fylde Coast by liaising with relevant stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for the Primary Care Networks (PCNs); and helping to coordinate meetings
  • Support the CCGs’ Clinical Directors by providing a general administrative support and advice service to them. We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic team member to strengthen our change capability and deliver against our primary care and neighbourhood and system development ambitions. A flexible attitude and willingness to undertake regularly changing work programmes is essential for this role . Previous experience of project support is desirable and it is essential for candidates to have a successful track record of working to tight deadlines, providing high quality project and admin support and balancing productivity across a number of projects. Excellent communication skills are also important as these projects will require extensive engagement with clinical leaders, practices, patient groups, providers and other stakeholders.
