A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to provide a high quality secretarial/administrative service to the Operational Lead and Team Leaders within East Hertfordshire Public Health Nursing Service (0-5yrs).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the administration and systems of their offices by efficiently implementing and developing office systems and processes. They will also be expected to work without immediate supervision using their own initiative to manager and prioritize their workload, seeking advice and escalating issues to the Operational Manager and Team Leaders when required.

The post will also require the successful candidate to have excellent organisational and communicational skills along with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Excellent IT skills are essential in Microsoft Office software packages, especial Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience of minute taking. A knowledge of E-Roster, TRAC, SystmOne and ELF would be desirable although training will be available if required.

The base is at Hertford County Hospital . There will be a need to travel to different bases within the East locality for meetings and to meet staff.

Interviews will take place on the 16th March 2020 (to include a short skills test).

You must hold a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum payment of £1,762 per annum (pro rata where applicable).
