Band 2 Inpatient Physiotherapy Assistants
East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust

An exciting opportunity to join one of the most forward thinking, innovative and proactive physiotherapy teams in the East of England has arisen!


We have a vacancy in our physiotherapy department for an enthusiastic physiotherapy assistant.You will work under the supervision of physiotherapists and help to carry out rehabilitation plans and help facilitate discharge for patients on wards across the Colchester General Site.
Our Band 2 staff rotate annually across a variety of wards in Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urgent Care, stroke unit and Elderly Care.

You should ideally have experience of working in healthcare, be enthusiastic and keen to work with the physiotherapy team to provide an excellent service. You will need to have good communication and organisation skills, be a team worker and able to use your own initiative. The department provides a 7 day service and you will be expected to participate in this rota.

You will be supported by qualified physiotherapists, working within a competency framework and will be given all necessary training for the job. You will manage your own workload and participate in team and service development.
