The Temporary staffing Lead Nurse Team have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Senior Administrator to work within their team based at Musgrove Park Hospital.

The Lead Nurse Team manage the bank nurses, healthcare assistants and agency colleagues that work across both Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset Partnership NHS foundation Trust, including our mental health areas.

This is the perfect opportunity within People Services to work closely with Recruitment, Workforce, Human Resources plus Learning and Development and gain an in-depth understanding of bank working within our trusts

The suitable individual will require; good administration skills, some clinical understanding, good time management skills and the ability to be autonomous. You must be able to communicate on all levels, have some experience with, and confidence to have difficult conversations, as well as be able to provide training to our growing group of bank staff colleagues. You will be required to support the team with; the recruitment of our bank staff, compile and submit advertisements via the Trac system, shortlist candidates, provide support during the interview and induction of new bank colleagues . You will be forming relations with clinical leads across the organisation, working with them to build and support our bank colleagues and manage all administration elements of incident management. Your bank lead nurse will be on hand to guide and support with all of the above.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that is going through a lot of change and expansion; developing new systems, and processes and working towards creating a streamlined service.

As a team we are based at Musgrove Park Hospital, we provide a Monday to Friday 9-5 service. However, you will be required to work across the organisations and must be able to travel to various locations across Somerset.
