Our team of nearly 300 includes Consultant Doctors, Specialist Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation and Exercise specialists.

Lead Cardiac Physiologist

North West London Area

Salary: £50,000 - £57,000

Full-Time, 40 hours per week


We are seeking a Lead Cardiac Physiologist to lead an enhanced Community Cardiology service in the North West London area. As the accountable lead for the service, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the service is delivered to the required level of quality.


  • Experience at highly specialist level with any relevant accreditations
  • Experience of communicating specialist information to key stakeholders Inc. clinicians
  • Experience of training all grades of staff
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience of planning and developing specialist services Inc. contributing towards local and national policies
  • BSc Clinical Physiology (or equivalent)
  • BSE Accreditation
  • RCCP Registration
  • Systems used Soliton for the RIS (Radiology Information System) and Intelerad for the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).


  • To have and be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Echocardiography and non-invasive physiology
  • Apply advanced practical and theoretical knowledge to perform, analyse and interpret technical information to a high degree of competence to write detailed reports.
  • To assist in the clinical management of patients undergoing cardiac investigations
  • Aid with the assessing, implementing and adapting to new clinical techniques and technologies
