This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to be part of the Mental Health Support Teams at Tier 2 of the ‘getting help’ aspect of the Thrive model.

 

This is a fixed term role until the end of March 2021.

 

The teams will work with young people with mild to moderate mental health conditions and will be based on a CBT model. The teams are integrated including SPFT (Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust) and WSCC (West Sussex County Council Staff) The post holder is responsible for supporting the development of the teams and embedding its services within Educational settings. The successful applicant will work with a case-load of young people and will also have a care coordination role.

The role will not be based in the CAMHS sites but will be within the school hubs. These bases are in the Bognor and Felpham area and also the Crawley area. The two teams will include 4 EMHP (Educational Mental Health Practitioners) a Band 6, Band 7, Educational Psychology and a Team manager.

This role will be based in the North-West Crawley area.
