Would you like a job where no two days are the same and where you can really make a difference?

We are looking for the right person to join our team to provide clerical support in our busy Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. We are looking for someone who has an excellent work ethic, and can live up to our Trust values. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact on the ward so a pleasant and helpful attitude towards staff and our patient families is a must.

The role encompasses the ability to prioritise, to work flexibly and independently. Your duties will include being responsible for all accurate record keeping for PICU’s activity using the NHS computerised system (full training will be given) and maintenance of hard copies where required. You will also deal with telephone enquiries and work on the reception desk as directed by your line manager.

You will join a fantastic existing team that, between them, cover the ward from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays and Christmas.

Shifts will be based on a rota, and full time/part time or flexible working will be considered – please state this on your application and/or it can be discussed at interview.
