We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Visiting Administrator to provide administrative support to Health Visiting Teams based in South Bristol, at an allocated address. You will also cover other locations when it is deemed necessary.

The HV teams are part of the “Community Child Health Partnership” service for Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

This is a responsible and valuable role and you will have good organisational skills, show attention to detail and have the ability to work under your own initiative. You will have the appropriate experience of working in a busy office and be a competent typist with accurate keyboard and data entry skills (as you will be using the EMIS medical information system daily). You will be both reliable and flexible. You will act as a point of contact between Health Visitors, parents/carers, colleagues and other agencies and this will require both good communication and interpersonal skills, including an excellent telephone manner as you will be required to take telephone messages, garner all relevant information (from the caller) before passing on to the appropriate person.

You will to have a good understanding of and meet deadlines whilst being responsible for various administrative tasks within the office and you will have an awareness and understanding of confidentiality.
