Band 3 Technical Instructor

Neuromedical Team (Inpatients)

 

Band 3 - Part-time (22.5hrs)

 

 

Physiotherapy Department at University Hospitals Plymouth NHT Trust is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the neuro-medical team. The post holder will work alongside qualified physiotherapists and the multidisciplinary team within the acute stroke unit and neurology ward.

 

The successful candidate will be joining a well- established team in delivering a seven-day physiotherapy service to patients as part of the wider multidisciplinary unit and work within set protocols to implement and progress treatment regimes. Good organisational and interpersonal skills, alongside previous and proven experience working within the field of neurology (as assistant or equivalent), are essential for a successful application. Professionalism and a positive attitude to professional development/ willingness and ability to learn are fundamental to the post. Other duties will include documentation, general administration and other tasks.

 

In-service training will be given to enable the successful applicant to fulfil their duties safely and effectively. The department has a well-established appraisal programme in which all staff participate.
