The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath, North East Somerset and West Wiltshire. We are looking for a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join team of Medical Records Assistants in our Medical Record Department at the RUH on a part-time basis.

You will be responsible for retrieving medical records using our off-site storage web portal, ensuring those records are ready to be sent to wards and departments across the Trust in a timely manner. The ability to organise and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines is key to this role.

Good communication skills and an exacting eye for detail are crucial in this busy post that involves contact with all disciplines of hospital staff. Medical Records and IT experience is an advantage, but not essential, as training will be given.
