The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is made up of a wide range of services across Manchester and the Greater Manchester footprint. GMMH provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford and Trafford and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond. They also provide Health and Justice Services in a number of custodial settings.

We have a placement opportunity available for an IT Helpdesk Service Agent available at Prestwich Hospital M25 3BL to strat ASAP!

 

Department: IM&T Operations Day to Day

Salary:  Band 4 £10.79 per hour                  

Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm flexibility to work 8am-4pm as required

 

Responsibilities will cover a number of areas such as;

 

  • Dealing with our ICT Users in person and by telephone
  • Logging IT User support requests based on identified needs
  • Using Active Directory to unlock accounts, reset passwords and reactivate network accounts
  • Updating information on Active Directory and other internal systems
  • Adding IT Users to shared email accounts on Active Directory
  • Responding to ‘Live Chats’
  • Creation of new network accounts and accounts on other internal systems

  • Experienced and confident in using ICT
  • Good telephone and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills and keenness to provide a good service every time
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised and methodical
  • Team player as well as capable of working alone on occasion
