An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a friendly team of therapy staff who are delivering services to people in the Holderness locality. This is a small team that consists of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff. Therapy is provided to patients in the community, either in their own homes or in a care home setting. The team provides therapy services to both Intermediate Care and Community Rehab patients, and as such, the day to day work is very varied. Patients are aged 18 and over, and have a wide variety of conditions, such as Frailty, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer and many others.

The successful applicant will be lone working for some of the time, but will have access to regular supervision, and will have good support from their team. There will be opportunities to network with colleagues via the professional development group, and to participate in regular CPD and training to develop your skills.

This post is suitable if you have had previous experience of working in physical health, you would like to consolidate your knowledge of occupational therapy and be involved in delivering high quality, outcome measured occupational therapy interventions in a community setting.
