Governance Coordinator – Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service. The service formed in June 2012 and is tasked to assess and treat the primary care mental health needs of Brighton and Hove residents. The service runs as a partnership between Here, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Mind in Brighton and Hove, and YMCA DownsLink Group. This is an opportunity to work in a key role within an innovative community based mental health service.

The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Governance Coordinator to join the operational leadership team at ‘Here’. The role of Governance Coordinator is to support the Wellbeing Service Operational Manager, Clinical Lead and Leadership team to achieve the implementation of service-wide quality and governance standards, marketing and communications, customer-care, and human resources including workforce development and policy.

The role encompasses governance, quality assurance and project management. It requires a good understanding of the Wellbeing Service operational processes and systems including a detailed working knowledge of policies and procedures, and the ability to support and train staff as necessary. You will develop and maintain productive relationships with clear roles and responsibilities, encouraging the giving and receiving of regular feedback.

Working collaboratively with key managers and clinicians in the Wellbeing Service, GP Practices and the relevant partner organisations and maintain productive relationships, you will assist the leadership team with the day to day running of the service and to achieve longer term strategic goals. The successful applicant should be solution focused and be able to support the provision of patient care. Our Offer

  • This is a permanent position, with working hours to be split over Monday-Friday with the potential for some Saturday working.
  • £21,282 - £27,672 per annum pro rata 
  • Part time and full time hours will be considered (preference is for a minimum of 30 hours a week)
