We are seeking a full or part-time salaried GP to join our team at Holderness Health. We are now the largest practice in the East Riding of Yorkshire and have exciting plans for the future.

As a salaried GP within our team, you will benefit from a genuine team ethos, support from a diverse group of Partners with many interests and excellent managerial and administrative support. We are also keen to encourage your career development in terms of special interests, research, teaching, management or external roles e.g. within the CCG.

We are committed to care navigation and to a ‘right clinician first time’ approach. We are currently reorganising our appointments system with the aim of balancing workload and extending chronic appointments to 15 minutes.

This is a cross-site role and we will agree working locations and patterns with the successful applicant. Rotational site working is part of our one-team ethos but is structured to ensure that continuity of care is preserved.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • 4-8 sessions per week
  • 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata for part-time)
  • Study leave
  • MDDUS General Practice Protection membership providing cover beyond the CNSGP scheme
  • Opportunity for Partnership
  • Support from a diverse clinical team which includes clinical pharmacists, ACPs, Nurse Practitioners and MSK First Contact Practitioners

About Us

We have almost 36,000 patients, 20 GP Partners and over 120 staff. We operate from seven sites located across Holderness in Hedon, Keyingham, Patrington, Roos and Withernsea. Our aspiration is to retain all the best elements of family practice, create an outstanding working environment and be at the forefront of innovation in general practice.

We are extremely proud to be:

  • A leading research practice in the area
  • A committed teaching practice
  • A Primary Care Network in our own right, giving us the freedom to test out new ways of working for the benefit of our patients
  • Tier 2 visa sponsors
  • A profitable dispensing practice
  • Positive about the future of partner-led general practice

Our beautiful rural locations are perfect for family life but are also an easy 25-45 minute commute against the traffic from Hull, Beverley and surrounding areas.
