The NHS is changing. More emphasis on community-based care means there’s never been a better time to join us.

The CQC has rated us ‘outstanding’ and says that our colleagues feel supported, valued and respected, with high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

Our vision is to deliver excellent local services which improve the health of our communities. To do this we need outstanding people who share our values (CARE). CARE stands for:

  • Compassionate
  • Aspirational
  • Responsive
  • Excellent

We are seeking a Community Speciality Doctor (Elderly Care) to join our friendly teams in rural west Kent.

You’ll be part of a team who are dedicated to adult and elderly care, actively managing patients living with frailty and other complex conditions in their homes and hospitals and working closely with clinical, social and external partners.

Based in idyllic Tonbridge, you will provide expert support as part of our innovative Home Treatment Service, participating in comprehensive geriatric assessments and providing oversight of medical care for community hospital inpatients. You will support consultants, heads of service and operational leads to continue the development of the Home First service, contributing to strategic decision making.

You’ll need to be flexible, creative and ready to embrace new ways of working as we continue to invest in the community sector. In return we’ll offer you a fantastic role in a relaxed and welcoming environment that gives you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills.

Although this is a full time post, candidates wanting to work less than full time or flexibly are welcomed.
