An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Senior Specialist Physiotherapist with excellent clinical musculoskeletal skills and an interest in chronic pain join to our inpatient Rheumatology/Haematology Therapy Team.

The post is based at Manchester Royal Infirmary working with rheumatology and haematology patients predominantly in an outpatient setting with some occasional inpatient contact.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience of working with rheumatology patients in an outpatient setting, providing clinical support and supervision to team members and actively participating in service development. They will be committed to providing high quality care based on evidence based practice and in line with national, regional and local guidance.

The Rheumatology/Haematology team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants providing effective pathways of care working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team within the Trust and the wider health economy. The team is actively involved in audit, research, and service improvement.

The orthopaedic therapy service operate a 7 day working model which all Rheumatology team members contribute to.
