If there’s something that you’re interested in and we haven’t listed it, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

New recruits would join a large and varied senior team, many of whom have enjoyed a number of years with us. Our philosophy is one of investment in our colleagues and new EM fellows will be able to call upon the support of a dedicated CESR supervisor as well as a team of experienced emergency medical educationalists. The department is a busy but friendly tertiary hospital ED and regional Major Trauma Centre that enjoys good relations with the rest of the wider Trust. We have just completed a renovation to our resus and paediatric areas and have secured funding to build a new state-of-the-art ED, if like many, you fancy staying around for a while..

You would be living near the Cornwall/Devon border and have easy access to stunning beaches, the Tors of Dartmoor, gorgeous rivers and estuaries with all of the leisure and sporting opportunities that these offer.

Working or training in EM can be challenging. We believe that we can offer stimulation, support and sustainability that could make your choice of EM an even smarter one. We can build the right job for you…

Applications from job seekers who require current Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the current Resident Labour Market Test which will be in place until the end of December 2020.
