We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our successful General Practice in Gateshead.

We have a list size of over 16,000 patients and provide a range of services across two sites. As a member of the Support Team you will have a positive attitude to your work with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. A working knowledge of computers and some knowledge of EMIS web practice software would be advantageous.

You will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard quality service to our patients and giving essential administrative support to the Practice. You must be friendly and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This post comes with a full induction and mentorship as well as a possibility to develop new skills as the General Practice working environment changes and new opportunities arise.

Hours of working will benegotiable working Monday to Friday and also Saturday mornings on rotation. Part Time/Job Share considered.
