Our 3,500 staff provide services to 4.7m people across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire. We handle over 1 million calls to 999 and 1 million calls to NHS 111 every year.

Newly Qualified Graduate Paramedic - Brighton Operating Unit (UK Applicants only)

Hours:Full time 37.5 hours (shift pattern)

We are recruiting for Newly Qualifying Graduate Paramedic (BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc, BSc) to join us. If you wish to join a Trust with an ethos of excellent patient care and a commitment to supporting staff with their personal development, then we are the organisation for you.

Embarking on your vocation as a Paramedic is exciting. We want to support you through that transition and watch you grow within our Trust. We are looking for empathetic and committed individuals who are eligible to register with the HCPC and hold a BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc or BSc award in Paramedic Science or Practice.

Applicants must have an excellent knowledge of pre-hospital, be methodical and systematic and demonstrate compassionate care in their daily interaction with patients.

Newly Qualified Paramedic applicants must also have the ability to deal with stressful and sensitive situations whilst being highly motivated and enthusiastic. You must also have a full EU driving licence with no more than three (3) points and hold a C1 category or are willing to gain this prior joining (an interest free loan will be made available for those who do not already hold this license and this will be paid back during an 18 month period).
