An opportunity has arisen within the Information Management & Technology department for a integration/database developer to join our established team, contributing to the development of new and emerging integration engine projects and the on-going development of the data warehouse and business intelligence offering.

The successful applicant will provide expertise in the provision, maintenance and evolution of the Trust data warehouse, business intelligence, database administration, integration software and associated technologies.

You will work closely with the Informatics, Software Development and Business Analysis teams to ensure that the data and integration needs of our business and users are met and enhanced.

Key skills for the data warehouse/DBA element of the role include SQL Server t-SQL, SSIS, SSAS and DW modelling using Kimball methodologies.

Key skills for the integration element include knowledge of FHIR and HL7 messaging standards, Intersystems Caché and HealthConnect/Ensemble and an understanding of RESTful applications. Not all skills are essential and we will work with the right candidate to develop skills in areas which may be lacking.
